Abstract

System FOTOM 2009 on NetBeans platform. On the Department of Informatics FEI V\vSB TU Ostrava FOTOM is developer syst\'em FOTOM, which serves the digital image processing. The program is created in the programming language C++. Originally the system was developed as a purpose-built program with no public API for other future modules. For this mason we decided to create a whole new generation system based on modern language and built on a suitable platform, enabling full modularity of the system. This calls for a revolutionary version of FOTOM 2009 with a newly designed core, which, thanks to strong API allowing an application to become more flexibile, easily expandable. The purpose of implementation of the new version of the system is not only reprogramming the original version of the system and provide a advantage of modularity, but revise the original tools and extend them by new and innovative ideas The current system does not replace all functionality of FOTOM 2008. New core is backward compatible and allow export to old format.
