COMPOSITIONS FOR ACID FRACTURING
Abstract
The research claims that carbonate reservoirs are different from terrigenous one with the ability significantly to improve the filtration and capacitive properties under the influence of hydrochloric acid solutions. Acidic compositions, containing not only the hydrochloric acid, but also various kinds of additives, such as demulsifiers, dispersants, stabilizers (converters) of iron and many others. They are usually selected by experience in practice. Its main function is to simplify the extraction of the oil emulsion from the formation, in particular to prevent formation of clots. It is caused by chemical properties of hydrochloric acid, which also complicate the work of oil equipment. The objects of our study are the carbonate rock and crude oil of Utevsky field. Taken oil was analyzed with standard physicochemical methods. Different acid concentrations were explored and 15% concentration had been chosen as an optimal. The various compositions with different combination and concentration of active additives (corrosion inhibitor, the iron transformer, demulsifier, dispersant) were tested. The work aims at the selection of acidic compositions by using a number of experiments. Using of model experiments allowed analyzing behavior of an optimal composition under interaction with the taken crude oil. The most effective acid compositions and percentage value of its reagents are selected. These compositions can be used in the development of a carbonate reservoir, and particularly in acid fracturing.
