HYDROGEOLOGICAL CONDITIONS OF THE ARAL SEA REGION AND PROSPECTS OF TECHNICAL WATER SUPPLY OF THE SODA ASH PRODUCTION FACTORY IN ARALSK DISTRICT OF THE KYZYLORDA REGION.
Abstract
This article examines the conditions and prospects of technical water supply with a requirement of up to 20,000 m3/day of the soda ash production factory in the amount of 300,000 tons per year in Aralsk district (Zhalgizagash area) of the Kyzylorda region. The geographical position of the Aral Sea basin, the relief, the amount of precipitated water and the hydrographic network are described. Consumers of soda ash are also presented in this article. The construction of the soda ash production factory will have a significant socio-economic impact both for the Aralsk district and for Kazakhstan as a whole, i.e. we expect the creation of new jobs for up to 700 specialists, implementation of new, innovative and technological processes, attraction of investments in the amount of up to 100 million US dollars for the construction of the factory and significant tax revenues to the local budget.
