Abstract

My presentation discusses facts about usage of brickmaking materials necessary for production. I named technological processes for extraction of brickmaking materials reaching to fifties of twentieth century. Their shift in modernization of technological processes in extraction of brickmaking materials and their current state. I concentrated on individual mechanical devices. From first machines serving in help of extraction, transportation and processing which have been entering extraction processes from the beginning up to present, which shows evolution, which brickmaking industry has made in last 70 years. I tried to set a timeline for birth of first made brick and continue up to recently created brick products. I named individual materials, their types, influence of composition of each material, additives used in creation process and influence of them on each product and its quality that they are part of. I also cannot forget naming technological parts such is drying of brickmaking products or the way how to fire them. As next aspect of my presentation is the effort to apply findings from creation processes, to pass on the information, about possible problems which have fatal impact on final product. I tried to predict even the best possible way which the brick making industry should set out.
