ANALYSIS OF OBSERVATION AND PREPARATION OF SELECTED TARGET GROUP FOR CRISIS SITUATIONS
Abstract
The aim of an article is to analyze the current state of building security awareness and preparing people up to 15 years of age in the area of extraordinary crisis situations focusing on fire protection. In the framework of the analysis of the current situation using the study of legislation, questionnaire survey and controlled interviews, deficiencies in the given area were identified and solutions were proposed. The target group of the interview was the members of the voluntary fire protection of the Slovak Republic. The questionnaire involved 30 primary schools within the Slovak Republic. The conclusion is the absolute inadequacy and outdated study materials in the area. There is no separate subject dealing with emergencies. Fire protection and extraordinary crisis situations are only dealt with in the Protection of Man and Nature, whose content only complements other teaching subjects. Preparation for extraordinary crisis situations also takes place within the theoretical part of the so-called. special-purpose exercises, realized twice a year. Pupils can acquire knowledge and skills in the field of fire protection in various competitions and in lectures by members of the Fire and Rescue Service or members of voluntary fire brigades of the Slovak Republic.
