Abstract

The paper is considering the results of the development of three hundred and three deposits of the Romashkinskoye oilfield, which is composed of porous fractured carbonate reservoirs. The investigation was devoted to the challenges associated with increasing of the production from the carbonate reservoirs on the basis of study concerning the conversion degree of the reserves involved in the development and production through the non-stationary production well operation. The authors present a comparative analysis of the optical properties and component composition of the oil extracted. An important task in the development of fractured-pore reservoirs is the extraction of low-grade oil from the matrix blocks. The most accurate method of matrix oil identification is a combination of optical and chromatographic methods. The condition for the effective application of non-stationary drainage technology is to determine the optimal duration of the maximum and minimum recovery period, since there is a risk of the bottom water rise to the perforation holes of production wells due to the vertical fracture of the reservoir. Due to the elastic forces in the fractured system, fluid flows are redistributed in the reservoir. As a result, the unrecovered areas of the formation matrix are involved into production. The study of the dynamics of the optical properties and composition of the extracted oil makes it possible to determine the inflow from individual sites, or zones, and the speed of crude oil movement through the reservoir.
