STUDY CONCERNING THE FRUIT GREY MOLD (BOTRYTIS CINEREA) TO RASPBERRY (RUBUS IDAEUS) PLANTS ON THE SPONTANEOUS FLORA

Abstract

Raspberries together with blackberries and strawberries are some of the most appreciated fruits from human diets and sometimes they are recommended by nutritionists in diets or in some digestive disorders. Raspberry plants (Rubus idaeus) products could have an important role in regaining the health balance by peoples who suffer of some anemias or of those who have different cardiovascular affections as there are some intestinal disorders. This is because raspberry products contain important amounts of vitamins, microelements and very important, serious amounts of antioxidant substances. In the same time, the raspberry fruits have a very low caloric content. Dried fruits and leaves could be used for aromatic tea, with high content in antioxidant substances. There are special plantations with this three crops but the major problem is that these plants have relatives from same species in wild flora. One of the most cosmopolite pathogens commons of cultivated varieties and for the wild plants of these three species of Rosacea botanic family is Botrytis cinerea and these fungus produce in all cases the grey mold and the rot of fruits. This is the reason why we bring on attention the infectious pressure of some of the most important raspberries pathogens, the fruits grey mold produced by fungus Botrytis cinerea. Generally speaking the plants of raspberries from wild flora are tolerant to pathogens, but when we are speaking about Botrytis cinerea it is interesting to remark that the fungus is very often found both on wild flora and crop raspberries plants. The fungus presence on wild flora plants was tested during the summer of 2017 on the southern part of the National Park Semenic ? Cerna River Canyon. We prefer to perform the evaluation of the fungus Botrytis cinerea presence and infectious pressure on certain populations of raspberry plants on these area because there are limited human intervention on the area because it is a natural reserve.
