Abstract

The great reserves and also convenient conditions for the use of coal represent very strong arguments for the justification of private capital investment in the energy sector of the Republic of Kosovo. The trend of living standard increase, development of industry and market demands within the South-East Europe pose the need for the construction of new power generation capacities. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is the introduction of possibilities for the coal supply of generation capacities up to 2000 MW in perspective of the central Sibovc potential fields.
