JUSTIFICATION OF PARAMETERS OF BUILDING INCLINED TRENCHES USING BELT CONVEYORS
Abstract
Schemes of mining and construction operations have been developed for inclined trenches on the open pit edge, where transport platforms and safety benches using the drilling and blasting method of rock mass preparation are located. The volume of mining operations is calculated taking into account the dislocation of a part of the open pit edge of the deep open pit mine for placement of loading points at the bottom of inclined workings. A new scheme of conducting mining operations implementing steeply inclined conveyor with corrugated board and partitions as a connecting link is presented, which makes it possible to reduce the transportation distance of large rock mass. Parameters of the inclined workings of the пїЅPoltavskyiпїЅ MPP mine for implementation of a crushing and loading station in combination with a steeply inclined conveyor belt and dump trucks are justified. The calculation of the choice of a steeply inclined conveyor for transportation of a rock with a slope of the route up to 42пїЅ has been made, which makes it possible to decrease the volume of mining operations and to reduce operating costs in comparison with the transportation by a conventional conveyor. An economic effect on the implementation of technological solutions has been established for the application of the steeply inclined conveyor while raising the rock mass to a height of 120 m.
