HIERARCHY OF THE INVESTMENT PROJECTS BASED ON THE MULTI-CRITERIA ANALYSIS
Abstract
The purpose of the work is to prezent a way in which can be hierarchized the investment projects in accordance with the criteria established by the international financiers based on the Multi-criteria Analysis (MCA). The MCA method is a sound basis for the investment decision-making when it is designing a project proposal. In this research we are used the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) process of hierarchy the investment projects that can be applied as an interactive method of the multi-criteria analysis. Thus, the decident (financier) has a flexible tool to visualize the alternatives (investment projects) and criteria in a hierarchy. The steps scrolled in the present research are: comparing the pairs of the decisional alternatives according to each criterion, for their hierarchy; comparing the pairs of the criteria in order to obtain their relative hierarchy and ultimately to obtain the matrix of performance required for the overall hierarchy of the investment projects in relation to all the criteria considered. AHP combines the criteria weights and the scores of the alternatives, thus determining a global score for each alternative and a consecutive ranking. The overall score for an alternative is a weighted sum of the scores obtained regarding all criteria. The decision-maker has the posibility to structure the decision-making process in a hierarchy and to manage the quantitative and qualitative multi-criteria issues.
