Abstract

The quality of the indoors is an important determinant of the health and well-being of the occupants. The indoor air quality is defined as an interaction between the climate, location, construction system, building materials, furnishing, building occupants, and all other processes within the building. The contribution deals with the assessment of perceived air quality related to human performance and productivity. The perceived air quality has significantly effect on performance and productivity. The indoor concentration of carbon dioxide and TVOC is one of the elementary parameters determining indoor air quality. The performance and productivity in this study is assessed by the standardized tests of concentration by group of panelists. The quality of the indoor environment is also monitored by the sensory evaluation. The study of interaction of productivity and performance of perceived air quality due to air change level is presented within the paper.
