COPPER POLLUTION OF SOILS FROM THE AREA INFLUENCED BY THE DOICESTI THERMOELECTRIC POWER STATION EMISSIONS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, PREDA, Claudia-Elena, Bliuc, I., Baran, I., Ungureanu, C., Avram, C.)

Thermo-electric power stations using coal are very important and complex polluters, due to the chimneys for burning gas evacuation which represent the main high sources of environmental pollution, while the ash dumps ? are lower sources. The Doice?ti thermoelectric power station built in 1952 is located in the Subcarpathian hill area, on the Ialomi?a Valley, constituting a source of heavy metals pollution of this zone. From the geographical viewpoint, the studied territory can be included in the Subcarpathian Curv...

CONTINUOUS TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM MODELLING IN ONE OF UNDERGROUND MINES FOR THE PURPOSE OF ORE FLOW SIMULATION

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Jurdziak, L., Kawalec, W., Krol, R.)

In Polish underground copper ore mines belt conveyors are the most common transport facilities. In KGHM Polish Copper SA there are over 100 km of belt conveyors. To increase reliability of the transportation system there are built numerous ore bunkers ensuring continuity of the excavation during 5 working days of the week and on weekends, during which ore bunkers feed processing plants. In addition, some conveyors were built as reverse ones what in cases of emergency can provide alternative routes to supply ore to...

THE METHOD OF ASTRONOMICAL REFRACTION ANOMALIES ANALYSIS BASED ON AEROLOGICAL DATA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Posivakova, Terezia, Pilvere, I., Zeverte-Rivza, S., Krievina, A.)

The aim of this article is to study astronomical refraction anomalies. Back in 1925 Grachev and Banahevich found systematic errors in meridian observations depending on zenithal distance. Grachev suggested that these refraction anomalies arise from the inclination of the Earth's surface to the South. The airstratas of the same density were considered as parallel to the Earth's surface. But the analysis of latitude observations from the Bamberg and ZTL-180 telescopes showed there were significant systematic errors ...

IDENTIFICATION OF LOADING PARAMETERS FOR BELT CONVEYORS OPERATING IN KGHM-S MINES

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Jurdziak, L., Kawalec, W., Kaszuba, D., Krol, R.)

The effectiveness of enrichment process of run-of-mine copper ore (at KGHM?s ore enrichment plants) depends on the selection of appropriate working parameters of processing machines which are customized mainly to fit the fed rock type. Therefore, the knowledge of lithological composition of run-of-mine copper ore fed to the ore processing plant can significantly improve the effectiveness of the enrichment process. The issue of optimization of enrichment processes with the help of the use of in-situ sensor technolo...

VARIANTS OF IDENTIFICATION OF THE RUN-OF-MINE ORE COMPOUND WITH THE HELP OF PROCESS ANALYTIC TECHNOLOGY IN THE KGHM UNDERGROUND COPPER MINES

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Jurdziak, L., Kaszuba, D., Kawalec, W., Krol, R.)

Processing of copper ore strongly depends on its parameters, therefore the more accurate identification of them should improve the process efficiency. The ore exploited in the KGHM underground mines in Poland is among the most difficult for processing, mostly due to its differentiated lithological compound. It can be identified at mining faces but on the way to processing plants through the complex transportation system consisting of trucks, sectional and main belt conveyors and ore bunkers, the portions of ore ha...

EXISTENTIAL GENERALIZATION IN TIL

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Mensik, M., Oancea, I.A., Lupsor, S., Popescu, A.)

The paper deals with the fundamental rule of extensional logics, namely the rule of Existential Generalization. This rule can be applied in the situation when a function f is applied on its argument a to obtain the value of f at a. If the application does not fail, i.e., if the function f is defined at a, then we can existentially quantify, and derive that there is the value f(a). Our system is based on Transparent Intensional Logic (TIL). Since TIL is a hyperintensional, partial, typed lambda calculus, we examine...
