THE EFFECT OF HYDROXYAPATITE NANOPARTICLES ON ALGINATE-PLGA FOAMS STABILIZATION

(STEF92 Technology, 2019-12-05, Maria G. Gordienko)

In this work hydroxyapatite (HAP) nanoparticles ranging in size from 30 to 150 nm of lamellar and rod-shaped form were obtained by controlled deposition in the presence of a stabilizer. HAP nanoparticle powder in different mass ratios was added to a mixture of biocompatible polymers (sodium alginate and PLGA), which were the dispersion medium of the emulsion. Water or an aqueous solution of sodium citrate was used as the dispersed phase. The internal structure of the matrices was studied by scanning electron micro...

PREPARATION AND INVESTIGATION OF ALGINATE-PLGA MATRIXIES CONTAINING AGGLOMERATES OF HYDROXYAPATITE NANOPARTICLES

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Maria G. Gordienko)

The work described the obtaining and studying the properties of alginate-PLGA matrixes containing agglomerates of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles. Hydroxyapatite (HAP) nanoparticles were obtained by controlled deposition in the presence of a stabilizer - sodium citrate. Two types of nanoparticle lamellar (30 to 50 nm in size) and rod-shaped (150 to 200 nm in length) were used in the work. The size and morphology of the hydroxyapatite nanoparticles were studied using a transmission electron microscope. The composition...
