The aim of the study is to present variation of days with hail precipitation in different regions of Bulgaria and seasonal synoptic classification of such type of extreme events. Examined period is 1991 – 2020. Time-space distributions of days with hail events, detected in at least one station from meteorological network of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology are presented, as well as the regime of wide-spread hail events.
