The Holy Cross Mountains are one of the oldest mountain ranges in Europe. The south-eastern part of the Holy Cross Mountains (the south-central part of Poland) is characterized by high geodiversity. The article discusses the geological structure of the Middle Devonian dolomites deposit located in the south-eastern part of Poland, in the Holly Cross Mountains, in the central part of the kielecko-lagowskie synclinorium. The deposit is cut by large, four-level open pit mine. It contributes to follow tracking the variability of the formation of Devonian sediments to a large extent.
