This article presents an approach for managing and comparing data, concerning some main food products in Bulgaria. The source for the search of these product categories (bakery products, milk and milk products, fish and fish products and etc.) is the created relational database. The extracted data for the selected category have been grouped, compared and processed. The obtained results enable the user to present relevant conclusions for the examined time interval.
