Carpathian Foredeep (CFD) is a mature Petroleum Province, where conventional biogenic gas has been produced since 1950s. At present the CFD is again object of petroleum prospecting, this time, as unconventional gas province. To improve resolution of this analysis, regional 3D structural model was constructed and divided into six main depositional complexes by developed on the basis of seismic data and geophysical logs interpretation.
