COGENERATION TECHNOLOGIES AND THEIR USE IN THE PROCESS OF GASIFICATION OF BIOMASS FOR ENERGY PRODUCTION

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Gavlik, Martin)

Urgent task of energy policy in the near term, in addition to diversification will encourage vigorous national economy, reducing dependence on natural gas and both demand-side measures (in the energy supply of buildings are mainly to improve the thermal protection) by measures on the production, transmi ssion and distribution (increasing efficiency of energy transforma tion and increasing the share of renewable energy at the expense of natural gas).Natural gas can be easily replaced in the supply heat buildings, a...

THE COMPARATIVE ECONOMICAL ANALYSIS OF HEATING SYSTEMS FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF FAMILY HOUSE

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Petrilák, Peter)

The work deals with reconstruction of family house on the part of energy for heating need. The essence has been to comparise individual alternatives, which are possible to realise in judge house. In the first part of work is the attention devoted to object describing and to heat loses values before and after the measurements. Than are particularly characterized alternatives of heating, their annual costs for heat production and for amount of fuel, invested costs and the portion of invested and overall costs. In th...

BACTERIAL ABUNDANCE, BIOMASS AND PROPORTION OF LIVING CELLS IN LITTORAL SANDY SEDIMENTS ON THE ROMANIAN BLACK SEA COAST

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Popoviciu, Dan Răzvan)

Bacterial density, biomass, morphological dive rsity and cell integrity were studied in surficial sediment samples taken form eight locations on the Romanian coast. Investigation was done by epifluorescence microscopy, employing SYBR Green I (universal fluorochrome) and propidium iodide (for visualising cells with damaged membranes). Cell density varied between 4.62-9.64 × 107 cells/cm3 sediment, showing a relation to sediment grain size. Dry biomass ranged between 3.03-6.39 µg/cm 3. Rod shaped bacteria were domin...

APPLICATION OF THE MICROWAVE ENERGY AT THE EXTRACTION OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS FROM NATURAL MATERIALS

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Dolinská, Silvia)

This paper presents a new approach to evaluation of coal with implementation microwave extraction. It is know from literature that coal is a chemically and physically extremely complex and heterogeneous material, consisting of organic (carbon) and inorganic (minerals) constituents. Our attention was intent on the study of influence of Soxhlet and microwave-assisted extraction in the open-vessel and closed-vessel system, respectively. The microwave extraction (MAE) was realised in microwave furnace with using diffe...
