USING GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE AND URBAN PLANNING IN FLOOD MITIGATION

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-11-20, Bica, I., Tucan, L.)

The fast development and densification of urban areas, combined with climate change conditions, have a consistent impact on urban water management services such as rainwater handling. The current pattern of urban development focuses on the creation and expansion of grey infrastructure, resulting in the deterioration of the natural environment and the loss of ecosystem functionality. This research aimed to identify and mix technical (hydraulic) solutions with green- infrastructure and with town-planning measures in...

CONSIDERATIONS ON METEOROLOGICAL WATER MANAGEMENT IN LOCALITIES UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF CLIMATE CHANGE

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Cotoarba, L., Florescu, C., Staniloiu, C., Pisleaga, M.)

This paper analyzes the management of meteoric waters on the hearth of the localities taking into considerations the climatic changes. The proposed solutions follow the new European requirements for the promotion of the separative sewerage system concept. Also, localities that currently have a unitary sewerage system have to implement the European requirements for rainwater separation from domestic waters according to the available funds. Along with climate changes, the localities in Romania are facing high risk o...

EFFECT OF GLOBAL WARMING ON THE REHABILITATION?S METHOD OF CEMENT CONCRETE PAVEMENTS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Hodakova, Dominika)

The cement concrete road pavements we can characterized with sensitivity to temperature changing and after that linear deformation, stresses owing to temperature gradients also. In pavement design we have to consider the traffic load and temperature condition. Unsuitable connection of concrete slabs has in results failure of pavements. In article is description of cement concrete pavements behavior under temperature changing and alternative solutions of structures and measures in rehabilitation design.
