MODELING AIR CHANGE RATE IN A NATURALLY VENTILATED BUILDING

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Nastac, C., Hornet, M., Iordan, N.)

In this article the air infiltration through the envelope of a naturally ventilated building, located in Bra?ov (Romania) is studied. The paper presents the study of the factors which influence the air infiltration ? wind effect and stack effect ? and the modeling of air change rate (ACH) inside the building, by Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) modeling. It has been found that ?T can be a good predictor of ACH because of its high physically correlation with this. Another conclusion of the study is that although wi...

WIND TUNNEL INVESTIGATION OF NATURAL VENTILATION INSIDE DOUBLE SKIN FA-ADES

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Sebastian, Sebastian Valeriu)

The paper presents the experimental analysis of a small scale building model (1:30), tested into a wind tunnel with atmospheric boundary layer. The objective of the study is to determine the wind influence on the ventilation of a double skin fa?ade channel (DSF). It was achieved by conceiving and implementation of an experimental program using a wind tunnel. During the experimental work the wind effect over the ventilation of the vertical channels of double skin fa?ades is evaluated for multiple velocities. For ob...
