REGULATION OF THERMAL REGIME OF COAL MINES IN CRYOLITHIC ZONES

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-11-20, Galkin, A., Kurta, I.)

Results of research into the choice of rational parameters of thermal regime in coal mine workings of the permafrost zone which are minimizing energetic and economic expenses of creation of normative parameters of mine microclimate are presented. It is determined that there is an optimal temperature to which the air in the coal face should be heated. It is demonstrated that the most rational method of air heating is the one employing heating devices distributed along the length of the coal face. Basic criteria of ...

STUDY ON OPTIMIZING THE OPERATION OF A WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IN ROMANIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-11-20, Iacob, C., Deac, A., Chira, T., Bolboaca, A.)

Considering the widespread pollution and the need for taking drastic measures to protect the environment, it is necessary to constantly optimize the treatment stages within the wastewater treatment plants in order to meet the quality standards when discharging wastewater into surface water. The paper presents a study on a wastewater treatment plant in Romania that serves a municipality with a population of approximately 400,000 inhabitants, having a sewerage network working in a unitary system. The study followed ...

DEVELOPMENT OF THE METHOD OF MILK PRODUCTS ANALYSIS BY HEADSPACE SOLID-PHASE MICROEXTRACTION WITH GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY-MASS SPECTROMETRY

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Alimzhanova, M.B., Sergaina, M.M., Kapar, Tukenova, Z.A.)

Demand of dairy products, especially yogurts, increases year to year in Kazakhstan; it has a significant contribution to the market, developing the range of yogurts. Due to its wide consumption and acceptance, science interests on the analysis of dairy products. However not all method are able to analyze the composition of yogurts, due to the complex compound and peculiar structure. For this purpose solid-phase micro extraction (SPME) technique was developed and coupled to subsequent gas chromatography?mass spectr...

INFORMATION SYSTEM OF DECISION MAKING USING FOR OPTIMISATION OF HEAT SUPPLY SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Nemtinov, Vladimir)

Heat supplying is a daily need of many people around the world. However, at the present time there is no universal efficiency measure of heat supplying. For the consumers, mostly important are: the cost of heat supply, the optimal temperature, uninterrupted supply. For heat supply organizations the most important are the profitability and low accident rate . Indeed, the efficiency of the heat supply systems depends on a large number of different indicators, such as reliability, accident-free operation, redundancy,...

ANALYSIS OF WAYS TO OPTIMIZE THE DESIGN AND OPERATION OF METHANE DRAINAGE SYSTEMS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Babut, G.B., Moraru, R.I., Stelea, M. Popescu -)

Restructuring of mining activity in Romania resulted in active implementation of reconstruction programs, upgrading and modernization of the mines in the Jiu Valley. These programs were aimed mainly at increasing labor productivity safely. Considering, along with requirements for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment, also the issues related to the drained methane valorization and to environmental protection restrictions it was imposed to rethink the so-called "global methane treatment" at the level of m...
