COASTAL HYPOXIA IN AREAS UNDER ANTHROPOGENIC PRESSURE

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Kurinnaya, Yuliya, Orekhova, Natalia)

An increase of anthropogenic load and intake of organic matter and nutrients leads to extremely negative consequences for coastal marine ecosystems. This is due to the fact that organic matter, deposited in the bottom sediments, contributes to the consumption of oxygen for its oxidation. With a lack of oxygen on the processes of mineralization of organic matter, its accumulation occurs. Oxygen consumption and organic matter accumulation in bottom sediments lead to appearance of anaerobic conditions in sediments an...

BOTTOM SEDIMENTS AND THEIR PROPERTIES IN THE CRIMEA COASTAL REGIONS

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Gurov, Konstantin, Konovalov, Sergey)

Studies of bottom sediments in the Crimean Peninsula coastal regions are highly essential because these sediments are under heavy pressures of maritime activities, but their good ecological state is highly important due to resort attractiveness of this region. Correlation between physical and chemical characteristics of sediments makes it possible to determine sedimentation conditions and anthropogenic impacts. Samples have been taken from the surface layer of bottom sediments in the coastal regions of Crimea in 2...

INFLUENCE OF SLOPE EXPOSURE ON THE SOILS OF AGRICULTURAL TERRACES IN THE EASTERN CAUCASUS

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Pinskoy, Viktor, Idrisov, Idris, Eltsov, Maxim, Bukhonov, Alexander, Potapova, Anastasia)

In the mountain zone, the slope exposure plays important role in the process of soil formation. The aim of the work was to assess the impact of slope exposure on the soil properties of agricultural terraces in the Eastern Caucasus. A study of soil properties of agricultural terraces in the mountainous zone of the Eastern Caucasus (Dagestan, Russian Federation) was carried out. The purpose of the study was to compare the soils of agricultural terraces on the slopes of the northern and southern exposure. The content...

APPLICATION OF ATR-FTIR SPECTROMETRY FOR EXPRESS PREDICTION OF THE ORGANIC MATTER PROPERTIES OF ARABLE LEACHED CHERNOZEM

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Okunev, Rodion, Smirnova, Elena, Giniyatullin, Kamil, Sahabiev, Ilnas, Gordeeva, Karina)

In this work the possibility of express prediction of the content of organic carbon, total and hydrolysable nitrogen in leached chernozems by infrared spectrometry with attenuated total reflection sampling technique with minimal spectra processing was studied. The territory of study is a plot with a rugged topography (elevation changes up to 60 m) and severe erosion. In total, 50 samples were taken from the arable horizon (0-20 cm). The spectra were obtained in the range 4000-660 cm-1 with a spectral resolution ? ...
