IMMOBILIZATION OF HORSERADISH PEROXIDASE: EFFECT OF THE SUPPORT AND THE DESIGN

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Matveeva, Valentina)

The magnetically recoverable biocatalyst was developed. The catalyst support is based on magnetite particles (MPs) composed of magnetite particles and coated with the amino terminated silica layer to facilitate further functionalization. This functionalization involves the attachment of the glutaraldehyde linker followed by the covalent attachment of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) via its amino groups. The catalyst was tested in the reaction of 2,3,6-trimethylphenol (TMP) oxidation to 2,3,5-trimethylhydrochinone (TM...

EFFECTIVE GLUCOSE OXIDATION WITH MAGNETICALLY RECOVERABLE BIOCATALYSTS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Matveeva, V., Golikova, E., Lakina, N., Bykov, A., Sulman, M.)

Here, we developed an effective D-glucose oxidation with magnetically recoverable biocatalysts. These biocatalysts were synthesized on magnetite particles obtained by different methods, polyol and co-precipitation. These MPs were coated with a layer of silica modified with amino groups. The GOx covalent attachment has been carried out via the reaction with glutaraldehyde. We established that the method of MPs synthesis affect the enzyme catalytic activity. It should be noted that the magnetically recoverable bioca...

EFFECT OF THE CRUDE OIL COMPOSITION ON THE OXIDATION BEHAVIOR BY HIGH-PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL SCANNING CALORIMETRY (HP-DSC)

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Abaas, M., Varfolomeev, M. A., Yuan, C., Emelianov, D.A.)

Air injection technology is an effective method for enhanced oil recovery (EOR). The advantage of this method is that it can be used for different oil reservoirs, such as light oil, medium oil and heavy oil. The composition of crude oil has an important influence on the oxidation behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to study the oxidation behavior of different crude oils. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) has been widely used to investigate the oxidation process of different fossil fuel, such as, crude oil, ...

COMPARATIVE STUDY OF REMOVAL OF HYDROGEN SULFIDE AND AMMONIUM FROM NATURAL WATER USING OXYGEN, AIR AND CHLORIDE

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Stefan, D. S., Meghea, I., Stefan, M.)

The quality of water sources used for drinking water production is highly varied. Many problems arise in groundwater due to the content of hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. Thei presence of its in water affects the organoleptic properties, in disosolved form the hydrogen sulphide confering undesirable taste and irritating rotten egg smell which make it unpalatable. Ingestion of sulphides through drinking water can result in stomach discomfort, nausea and vomiting. Ammonia in concentration above 1.5 mg/L can cause odou...

EFFECT OF ROCK MINERALS ON THE CRUDE OIL COMBUSTION CHARACTERIZED BY THERMOGRAVIMETRY COUPLED WITH FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY (TG-FTIR)

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Abaas, M., Varfolomeev, M. A., Yuan, C., Emelianov, D.A.)

Air injection technology, including high?pressure air injection and in-situ combustion, is an effective method for enhanced oil recovery (EOR). It is widely accepted that, in an air injection process, the oxidation of crude oil plays an important role in the displacement mechanism in an in-situ combustion process. In recent years, thermal analysis techniques have become highly important tools for the investigation of crude oil combustion. Thermogravimetry (TG/DTG) have been widely used to characterize the oxidatio...

ACCELERATING RATE CALORIMETRY AS A METHOD FOR ANALYSING IN SITU COMBUSTION PROCESSES

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Khachatrian, A. A., Rakipov, I. T., Varfolomeev, M. A.)

This work devoted to study in situ combustion processes of different crude oil. The crude oils from different field of Russian Federation were selected. Oxidation process in reservoir conditions (50 bar and 50 °C) were studied for all crude oils. The combustion study was investigated by accelerating rate calorimetry (ARC). This method is most suitable for studying the processes of oil oxidation in reservoir conditions. Arrhenius kinetic parameters were determined for crude oils. The correlations between API gravit...
