In the study area the lowermost unit is the autochthonous GeyikdagД± unit (Upper Cambrian-Lower Ordovician Seydisehir Formation, Upper Jurassic Hacialabaz formation, Upper Cretaceous Cokelen diabase and Upper Cretaceous Saytepe formation). The BolkardagД± unit (Devonian-Lower-Middle Carboniferous Hocalar formation, Upper Permian, Taskent formation and Jurassic-Upper Cretaceous SinatdagД± formation) rests allochthonously on the GeyikdagД± Unit.
