The article presents the didactic values of playground areas. The text is depicted by examples of playground areas that accompanied the horticultural exhibition BUGA 2015 (Bundesgartenschau) in Havel region in Germany. Specific colours, shapes and materials used in these spaces bring adolescent users closer to nature.
