The results of refractory sorption tailings biooxidation and gold extraction from are presented. Selected of a representative sample and the phase composition of sorption tailings of the gold extraction plant LLP В«Altyntau KokshetauВ» was studied. According to the research it was found that the composition of the test sample contains Au-3.24 g/t; Ag ? 2.1 g/t. We present the results of precious metals leaching from stubborn sulphidic silver-and- gold-containing ore of Kazakhstani deposit Kunisty by complex cyanide в€’thiosulphate solutions in comparison with separate cyanide and thiosulphate solutions in the model and experimental conditions.
