The Kungurian salt domes are widely pervasive in the Pre-Caspian depression, so that the post-salt Upper Paleozoic and Mesozoic deposits disturbed considerably by salt tectonics. Salt structures formed mainly in the upper Permian time, at the end of which salt massifs broke this thick stratum and they were intensively dislocated.
