The Geological Survey of Norway, in 2019, collected helicopter borne geophysical data in parts of Loppa and Kv?nangen municipalities, in Northern Norway. The onshore Thermaikos basin is the northwestern extension of the offshore Thermaikos basin, located at the area west of Thessaloniki, in northern Greece.
