DETECTION OF AGATE-LIKE SOIL COVER STRUCTURES USING NEURAL NETWORK FILTERING OF BIG REMOTE SENSING DATA

(STEF92 Technology, 2024-11-01, П. В. Королева, Д. И. Рухович, Alexey Rukhovich, Г. И. Черноусенко)

Agate-like soil cover structures (ASCS) of leached chernozems are common in some regions of Russia with a total area of 425 242 km2 (the republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, Orenburg, Samara, and Ulyanovsk regions). The term -agate-like structures- was proposed due to the fact that on remote sensing data they resemble a section of the Timan agate. The structures are formed on loamy and clayey Quaternary sediments with a thickness of 0.5-5 m, overlying Permian sediments (bedrock). It is possible to identify th...

ANALYSIS OF BIG DATA FOR ESTIMATING THE INFORMATIVENESS OF THE COEFFICIENTS OF THE MULTI-TEMPORAL SOIL LINE N-DIMENSIONAL SPACE

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Alexey Rukhovich)

An algorithm for extracting information on the types and subtypes of soils for each pixel of big data sets of remote sensing on agricultural lands is proposed. For this, a mathematical apparatus for constructing a multi-temporal (empirical) soil line is used. The classical soil line (SL) is defined in the RED-NIR spectral space by two coefficients "a" and "b" [2, 6, 9]. In this form, SL does not characterize soil types and subtypes. A multi-temporal soil line (MSL) is the major axis of an ellipse that describes al...

APPLYING THE ELASTIC MAP METHOD TO ANALYZE THREEDIMENSIONAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE SOIL LINE COEFFICIENTS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Alexey Rukhovich)

For the analysis of various characteristics of natural objects distributions cluster analysis, principal component analysis and regression analysis are often used. There is a large number of distributions of the parameters of natural objects (e.g. spectral characteristics of soil), where the function is unknown, and discreteness is not visible, and contrary to the basic properties of described object. The soil cover is continuous in space and has no clear boundaries between spectral characteristics, such as soil l...
