The demographic load on the Volga River beaches in the Cheboksary urban district (Russia) significantly exceeds their maximum demographic capacity. The article presents the results of a study of the attractiveness of the forests coasts of the Cheboksary Reservoir on Volga River of the Cheboksary urban district in Chuvashya region (Russia). As the main natural and recreational characteristics, two criteria were chosen: the attractiveness of the relief and forest landscapes.
