Paper presents a technical and economic analysis of the implementation of renewable energy solutions in urban buildings by installing balcony photovoltaic systems. It has been calculated that if 25% of all urban homes in Romania had a balcony photovoltaic system, a total installed power of approximately 1,058 MW would result.
