We performed petromagnetic, elemental composition and mineralogical investigations of samples from lake Bolshoe Miassovo, Chelyabinsk region, Russia (55°9?59.89?N 60°20?51.82?E). In August 2018 an expedition was organized to Lake Sevan (Armenia), where seismoacoustic studies and the selection of short cores of bottom sediments for laboratory investigations were carried out. Five seismoacoustic sections revealed a bedding pattern of bottom sediments. The thickness of sediments reaches ~ 14 m.
