Energy consumption was already high when the EU/Directive of energy performance of buildings (EPB) was adopted. Final energy consumption accounted for more than 40% of total energy consumption in the EU residential sector and in the tertiary sector. The Directive concerns the design of structures in such a way as to meet EPB requirements. This Directive 2010/31 / EU extend and clarify the obligations of the EU Member States with regard to the reduction of energy consumption in the use of buildings affecting primar...

SOLUTION OF THE AIR FLOW IN THE VENTILATED FACADE AND ITS EFFECT ON THE THERMAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PERIPHERAL WALL

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Dušan Katunský)

Nowadays, with the increasing construction of buildings, we can increasingly encounter ventilated facades. These structures gain space thanks to new anchoring materials and methods, but also their wide application in terms of architectural requirements. They also improve the thermal properties of the outer walls. The air gap layer helps with the continuous removal of moisture from the structure. And last but not least, the structure of ventilated facades very effectively contributes to increased noise protection. ...
