The paper presents the results of a study of the paramagnetic activity of humic acids of peat and sapropels of a vertical profile. Samples were taken near the Mukhrino field station located in the Ob-Irtysh interfluve. The article gives the botanical composition of the studied peat. G-factors were determined for the first 8 samples of HA. The g-factors of the studied HA are close to the g-factor of a free electron (2, 00230) and range within g = 2.00360±0.00015.
