The River Chorokhi delta is located in the southeastern part of the Black Sea, including Batumi city with its coastal part, which today is heavily washed away. Until the 90s of the 20th century, its litho- and morphodynamic peculiarities were mainly conditioned by the solid runoff of the Chorokhi River.
