Based on a comparative analysis of biomarker data of the bituminous of the rocks of different ages located near the Sarayli and Altunino-Shunak troughs, various sources of their formation are shown. It is established that disjunctive rocks in the development zone of the Sarailin trough serve as ways for lateral and vertical migration of hydrocarbons of the one degree of catagenetic maturity to places of productive deposits.
