In this paper it is proposed a Hybrid Power Source (HPS), based on Renewable Energy Sources (RES), and a Fuel Cell (FC) system as backup energy source, which uses an optimal control strategy for the fueling rates of the FC (hydrogen and air) based on the load following (LF) control.
