Starting with 2008, Romania decided to reduce the hail damage over the agriculture crops in an active way, adopting legislation that allows the use of special rockets to fight hail. The system has now, five units of hail suppression and the increase of precipitation with 68 launching points, distributed around the country and the main aim is to protect valuable crops.
