This paper presents a technique for the detection of elliptic objects connected with subsidence troughs in radar interferograms using the Hough transform. The generalized Hough transform to detect arbitrary shapes, including ellipses, requires a five-dimensional accumulator array, which occupies a very large part of the memory.
