The interiors of buildings are often overheated in summer. The integration of Phase Change Material (PCM) into the building structure can reduce the temperature in the interior because PCMs are able to store latent heat at normal indoor air temperatures. This paper presents the results of the research of mechanical and thermal properties of interior plasters with an increasing proportion of PCM. These plasters were made of gypsum, and microencapsulated PCM Micronal DS 5008 X was used. Two sets of samples with an i...

COMPARISON OF HEATING SYSTEMS IN PASSIVE STANDARD OBJECTS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Marek Jasek, Katerina Kubenkova, Jiri Labudek, Daniela Staffenova)

Passive houses primarily belong to the category of buildings with very low energy consumption for object heating. Their overall energy performance is affected by a number of indicators, including in particular: solution of building structures and details on boundary of building heated space, characteristics of used materials and the choice of opening fillings. In the initial design phase of the building it is necessary to ensure maximum utilization of solar gains and internal gains from people and appliances. Howe...
