We report the hydrogenation of furfural (FF) to furfuryl alcohol (FA) with Ru- and Pd-containing catalysts stabilized by hypercrosslinked polystyrene (HPS). Ru- and Pd-containing HPS-based catalysts were synthesized via wet-impregnation method.
