ANALYSIS OF HORIZONTAL MOVEMENTS ACCOMPANYING DEVELOPMENT OF SUBSIDENCE DEPRESSION IN NON-TRIVIAL GEO-MECHANICAL CONDITIONS

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2009, V. Kajzar, H. Dolezalova, L. Stas, K. Soucek)

Based on the results of data processing of regular GPS surveying of point field stabilized in the selected location with an active underground mining of coal deposits, it is possible to monitor the development of creating of subsidence depression. One analysis to assist in better understanding of the ongoing processes is the spatial-temporal analysis of shifts of individual points, which serves as a basis for describing degree of influence of the monitored coalfaces on the progress of deformations of different par...

PROGRESS OF SUBSIDENCE DEPRESSION MONITORED BY GPS

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2009, H. Dolezalova, V. Kajzar, L. Stas, K. Soucek)

Underground mining leads to creation of subsidence depression on the surface of the undermined territory. An observation network was built to be used for repeated surveying by GPS. From GPS data the surface subsidence was computed. The evaluation of the progress of the subsidence of surface points shows on an important influence of tectonic faults, earlier undermining and generally the geo-mechanical condition of the massif on the surface subsidence.

OBSERVATION OF SUBSIDENCE DEPRESSION BY MODERN GEODETIC METHODS

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2008, H. Dolezalova, V. Kajzar, K. SOUCEK L. Stas)

Underground exploitation of coal deposits in KarvinР° region results in movements and deformations on the surface where a subsidence depression starts to create. The extraction activity under non-trivial geological and geo-mechanical conditions may cause unexpected time-spatial surface changes and different shape and range of creating subsidence depression. To observe the surface changes caused by underground mining in such area we decided to build up an observation station of points that are repeatedly surveyed b...

USING OF CONICAL GAUGES PROBE FOR MEASUREMENT OF STRESS CHANGES INDUCED BY PROGRESS OF LONG WALL

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2008, L. Stas, K. Soucek, J. Knejzlik)

A new device for stress tensor measurement is developing on base relief overcoring method applied on conical shaped borehole bottom. Developing of equipment has progressed to two parallel types: for measurement of total rock stress tensor by overcoring procedure and for monitoring of induced changes of rock stress tensor impressed with uderground human activity (progress of long wall face,\ldots). This second type of device has been used to long term monitoring of the stress – strain changes. A functionality of ...
