COAL-MINERAL SORBENTS AS EFFECTIVE SORBENTS FOR REMOVAL OF BORIC ACID

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Luisa Beisembayeva)

Development of new nanostructured carbon sorbents with desired properties is an important task. This corresponds to the carbon-containing sorbents, i.e. active alternative coals, because their usage puts forward increasingly stringent requirements to their strength and structural characteristics. Determination of active centers in sorbents, understanding of mechanisms, which form coal-mineral sorbents, allow to make process of synthesis controlled, and thus provides obtaining of carbon-containing sorbents with cer...

EFFECTIVE METHODS OF PURIFICATION OF EXHAUST GASES OF TPP FROM SULFUR-CONTAINING COMPOUNDS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Oksana Ponomarenko, Ilona Matveyeva, Luisa Beisembayeva, Sofiya Romanova)

During combustion of natural fuels together with oxides of main fuel elements (carbon and hydrogen) fly ash with unburnt fuel particles, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, some amount of fluorine-containing compounds and gaseous products of incomplete combustion of fuel are released into the atmosphere. The technology and technological parameters of equipment for purification of exhaust gases of TPP, which allows to remove up to 95% of sulfur and carbon oxides by low-temperature liquid-phase catalytic oxidation at at...

FEATURES OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF RESERVOIR - COOLER OF EKIBASTUZ GRES-1 (KAZAKHSTAN)

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Luisa Beisembayeva, Sofiya Romanova, Oksana Ponomarenko, Ilona Matveyeva)

Unique reservoir of Kazakhstan is a reservoir-cooler of Ekibastuz GRES-1, located on the territory of Pavlodar region in 17 km to North-East from Ekibastuz town. It was founded in 1979 in the washed basin of former bitter-salty lake Zhengeldy by filling with fresh water from the Irtysh-Karaganda canal. Currently, water of reservoir is used for technical supply of the power plant, and in the future, it will be used for fish farming and irrigation purposes. The results of many years of comprehensive experimental fie...

THE TECHNOLOGY OF PRODUCTION OF DIMETHYL ETHER FROM EXHAUST GASES OF TPP

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Oksana Ponomarenko, Ilona Matveyeva, Luisa Beisembayeva, Sofiya Romanova)

Nowadays there is a search for alternative motor fuels. In this situation, applied science is actively working on the problem of the search of cheap, high-calorie and environmentally friendly fuel.To solve this problem, the basic technological scheme of processing of real exhaust gases of TPP in a high-octane diesel is developed, and laboratory apparatus (column with cooling tubes) for the synthesis of methanol and dimethyl ether is suggested. The advantage of the developed scheme of reprocessing of real exhaust ga...
