The transit gas pipeline in Slovakia was built in 1970s. The gas pipeline runs from Ukraine through the southern part of the entire Slovak Republic to Czech Republic. The transit pipeline is made of 5 lines with diameter of 1,220 m and 1,420 m. Terrain obstacles such as rivers and water courses are mastered by 16 pipeline bridgings.
