Mobile mapping systems (MMS) are becoming used in standard geodetic tasks more common in the last years. This paper deals with independent accuracy evaluation of MMS RIEGL VMX-450, and recommendation for which types of tasks is effective to use tested MMS. Data from mobile laser scanning and mobile photogrammetry obtained by tested system were evaluated.
