Miocene deposits are widespread in the Carpathian Foredeep in Poland (the northernmost part of Central Paratethys). The Poreba Zegoty XXV/25 borehole is located about 25 km on the west from Krak-w in the western part of the Carpathian Foredeep. The profile of Miocene deposits in this borehole includes the Klodnica and Skawina Formations.
