Lajaneh Fe skarn deposit is located in so uth of Shahrood City, North East of Iran. Mineralization is occurred as massive, veins and breccias in the c ontact of the dioritic intrusion with limestone. The dioritic intrusions in Lajaneh Fe skarn deposit display calc alkaline and metaluninous nature with I type characteristic. Deh Salm Jurassic shales of Shemshak formation are located in south of Birjand city in East of Iran. The Jurassic shale of Shem shak formation in this area is partly metamorphosed and display finely foliation. Th e trace element data of Deh Salm shales are compared with upper continental crust, clarke value of sedimentary rocks and world's average of shales.
