AQUATERMOLYSIS OF HEAVY OIL IN RESERVOIR CONDITIONS WITH THE USE OF ULTRADISPERSED CO-BASED CATALYST

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Sergey Sitnov)

The depletion of light hydrocarbon resources and increasing the amount of heavy oil reservoirs drive petroleum companies to produce high viscous oil by unconventional methods, particularly thermal methods. Presently increasing the efficiency of thermal applications is a vital task. This paper discusses the influences of catalytic (introduction of catalytic precursors and H donor with amount of 1 wt% on oil) and non-catalytic aquathermolysis to the group composition and properties of extra-heavy oil from пїЅAshalch...

GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ORGANIC MATTER OF THE ROCKS AND OILS OF THE ANSAGAN DEPOSIT OF THE CASPIAN BASIN

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Sergey Sitnov)

The deposits of light oil and gas in the Devonian sediments of the "Ansagan" deposit are found. In the deposits of the Famenian stage of the upper Devonian, a gush of gas condensate was obtained. Samples of formation fluid are characterized by low density (0.78 g/cm3). The extracted oil refers to low-tar and paraffin (the content of paraffins is more than 2-3 %). The genetic relationship between oils and organic matter of rocks has been studied. To determine the group composition of bitumoids, the SARA method was ...

GROUP COMPOSITION OF BITUMOIDS OF THE LOWER MATURE DOMANIC SHALE SAMPLES DEPENDING ON THE DEPTH

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Sergey Sitnov)

This work is investigation of the group composition of the bitumoids of Domanic shale deposits (Romashkino oilfield in the Volga-Ural petroleum and gas Basin). The samples were taken from different depths for this well. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the productive deposits are carbonate reservoirs consist of 92 wt% calcite. The extracted kerogen is of type II according to the Van Crevelin diagram, based on the ratio (H / C) and (O / C). It was found that the objects of the study differ in the mass conte...

LOW-TEMPERATURE AQUATHERMOLYSIS OF HIGH-SULFUR HEAVY CRUDE OIL OF THE VOLGA-URAL BASIN IN THE PRESENCE OF THE IRON-BASED CATALYST

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Sergey Sitnov)

Thermal methods, in particular steam treatment, are the most needed among the tertiary methods of increasing the extraction of Heavy crude oil. The use of catalysts in couple with the steam injection is promising method. This article is about experimenting with the modelling of steam effects on the oil-saturated sandstone, using a dimensional-based catalyst based on iron. The composition and physico-chemical characteristics of the products of the thermocatalytic effects have been studied. It has been shown that th...

LOW-TEMPERATURE PYROLYSIS OF THE NATIVE HEAVY OIL IN THE PRESENCE OF THE IRON-BASED CATALYST

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Sergey Sitnov)

Currently heavily developed light oil resources are being depleted, and the energy consumption is increasing. In this context, the task of developing the tight oil reserves is relevant and will soon become an essential resource for stabilizing and increasing the oil production. The share of tight oil (including heavy crude oil) is steadily increasing in the overall balance. Oil production will therefore be at the expense of these oil revenues in the coming years. These hydrocarbon resources are referred to as non-...
