IDENTIFYING THE SOURCES OF POLLUTION IN THE BRAD AREAS CLOSED MINING

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Emilia-Cornelia Dunca, Tiberiu Rusu, Daniela-Ionela Ciolea, Iustin Olariu)

Mining generates a negative impact on the areas after stopping mining activities. Causing mines closed because of their specific, multiple and varied adverse effects on the environment by land degradation, by vertical and horizontal surface and sliding heaps and tailings ponds; polluted surface waters and groundwater; hydrodynamic imbalance of groundwater; negative influences on the atmosphere, flora and fauna; chemical pollution of the soil. Mining gold mine Barza - Brad is currently stopped, the mine was closed....

INTERACTIONS AMONG SOIL NITROGEN AT DIFFERENT DEPTHS AND VEGETATION FEATURES IN LOWLAND GRASSLANDS FROM WESTERN ROMANIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Delia-Cristina Pirsan, Tiberiu Rusu)

In western Romania, respectively the lowland area of this region the main grassland habitats are steppe and forest steppe grassland. Most of the land from this region is arable, the grassland patches being scattered in variable surfaces near to the inhabited area. These are used mainly for grazing by the cattle and flocks of the community. Some small grassland surfaces are mown for hay. Most of the arable land is cultivated in an intensive manner, this agricultural practice influencing the biotope and biocoenose o...

POST-CLOSURE MONITORING THROUGH THE WIRELESS SENSORS AND MICROCONTROLLERS TO BRAD MINING AREA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Emilia-Cornelia Dunca, Tiberiu Rusu)

The paper aims to solve pollution problems mining sites closed on the environmental components. In this regard it is proposed the use of microcontrollers and wireless sensors for warning exceeded limit values of environmental quality indicators. It wants to create a network of wireless sensors to anticipate the amount of pollutants to take measures to reduce pollution in the mining Brad chosen as a case study.

THE TOXIC EFFECTS OF AIR POLLUTION CAUSED BY THERMAL POWER PAROSENI ACTIVITY ON THE SPECIES OF ACACIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Emilia-Cornelia Dunca, Tiberiu Rusu, Daniela-Ionela Ciolea, Iustin Olariu, Iosif Andras)

In most industrialized countries the problem of air pollution has become a major concern with significant social and political implications, is considered a barrier to economic and social development, drawing attention to these natural resources, materials and energy are not inexhaustible. In the literature are numerous researches on environmental pollution, correlated or not with the consequences on animals and food of animal origin, and not least on health human. In recent times the environmental pollution has d...
