REGULARITIES OF DISTRIBUTION OF BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF MAIN TYPES AND SUBTYPES OF SOILS OF VERTICAL ZONALITY OF NORTHERN TIEN SHAN

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Mazurkiewicz, Jakub, Vavrinova, N., Longauerova, V., Petrik, J.)

Soil animals by their size are usually subdivided into 5 groups: nano-, micro-, meso-, macrofauna and megafauna. Mesofauna is the most numerous part of soil animals. The mesofauna is represented by mokritsa, enchytraeids, insects, centipedes, spiders, mollusks, etc. Soil animals occupy, basically, the upper horizons (up to 20-40 cm deep), in dry areas only certain species penetrate to a depth of several meters. Mesofauna, along with other soil organisms, can be used as a bioindicator. In addition to the high abund...

STUDY ON THE HIGH-INTENSITY GEOMAGNETIC STORM FROM MARCH 2015, BASED ON TERRESTRIAL AND SATELLITE DATA

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, V.Vorontsova, E., Vorontsov, A. L., Balashova, T. N., Bujanca, G., MESZAROS, R.)

Space weather can be monitored from the ground (astronomic/astrophysics observations and geomagnetic observatories) and from space (satellite data). Optical instruments (telescopes on the ground) recording the number of sun spots, as well as to viewing aurora, but these observations are affected by the weather from Earth's atmosphere. Observation from space does not have such a limitation. In the last years, satellites and spacecraft have monitoring the space weather. Through cooperationbetween European Space Agenc...

DETERMINATION OF THE ASSOCIATED PATTERN FOR GEOMAGNETIC PERTURBATIONS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Asimopolos, L., Asimopolos, N. S.)

In this paper we make a briefly presented the problems related to geomagnetic field metrology within the Surlari Observatory from Romania, in accordance with the international standards of planetary network of geomagnetic observatories INTERMAGNET and International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy (IAGA), followed by an overview of the types of geomagnetic variations. We have identified and selected few time periods of intensive geomagnetic activities, from the year 2017 and based on the data files recorde...

HIGHLIGHTING THE DEEP TECTONIC ELEMENTS OF THE EASTERN CARPATHIANS BY ANALYZING THE MORPHOLOGY OF GEOID

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Asimopolos, N. S., Asimopolos, L.)

The separation between the mobile plate (Phanerozoic) in south and west of the eastern European Precambrian East European Craton is the most prominent geological limit in Europe known as the Trans-European Suture Zone (TESZ) In this study we were mainly interested in a prominent segment of TESZ, known as the Tornquist -Teisseyre Area (TTZ). In this study we highlighted the TTZ area through the gradient of geoid from Romania. The geoid provides a good representation of the long wavelength characteristics of the Ear...

METHODS OF SMOOTHING AND FILTERING GEOLOGICAL AND GEOPHYSICAL DATA

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Asimopolos, L., Asimopolos, N. S.)

In this paper we presented the calculation algorithms and the software for the calculation of the moving average with various windows, for calculating the analytical expressions of the polynomial tendencies of various degrees and for the calculation of the correlation factor variation between two parameters. Trend analysis is part of the field of regression analysis that satisfies the smallest squares criterion. The difference between the calculated value of the trend surface at a certain point and the value obser...
